| 1994 | - | 195,000 signature petition delivered to Downing St. |
| - | House of Commons announces decision to set up a Cardiac Unit at Derriford Hospital | |
| 1996 | - | HeartSWell South West was chosen as the new name for the charity, following the enlargement of the area served by Derriford. It means HEART IS WELL in the South West |
| - | Appeal launched to finance accommodation for relatives of cardiac patients at Derriford | |
| 1997 | - | Cardiac Surgery Centre opened |
| 2001 | - | HeartSWell Lodge opened |
| 2002 | - | £5,000 donated to Derriford to purchase a Doppler Perfusion Monitor |
| - | £35,0000 towards an Electrical Mapping System donated to Derriford on the first anniversary of the Lodge opening | |
| 2003 | - | Lodge Site purchased from Plymouth City Council at a cost of £160,000 |
| 2004 | - | £30,000 donation to Derriford to purchase a TOE (Transoesphageal) probe and continuous blood pressure monitor |
| 2005 | - | Peter Gorton agrees to become HeartSWell’s second patron in addition to Judi Spiers |
| 2006 | - | First Wear it RED Day on Valentines Day raised £2,500 |
| - | Monica Pearce, HeartSWell's Vice Chairman and founding member passed away aged 73 | |
| - | Donation of £125,000 for the purchase of a new Electrocardiography Computer System | |
