HeartSWell’s Summer Ball gives an opportunity for an evening full of fun whilst raising money for a great cause!

The money raised during the event will be used to launch a community charity defibrillator programme, bringing together charities who could benefit from having this life saving-equipment, and fundraising together to make the South West a safer place.

HeartSWell have been supporting heart patients, carers and relatives across the South West for over 20 years. Having initially raised £1M to build accommodation for carers and relatives of patients undergoing treatment at Derriford, the charity now provides support and counselling services throughout Devon and Cornwall as well as operating a defibrillator programme which has seen over 100 defibrillators placed in communities throughout the South West.

Located near Derriford Hospital, the charity raises funding to provide lifesaving equipment for the South West Cardiac Centre at Derriford Hospital and cardiac units at Treliske, supporting the advancement of medical research into cardiac conditions and procedures.
